The world premiere of “Nada te Turbe” for voices and strings exploring the theme of mystical joy, will take place in the near futur at The Church-in-the-Gardens in Forest Hills, NY.

AEON Ensemble is thrilled to commission and premiere "Nada de Turbe" by Gilbert Galindo. Visiting the words of Rumi, St. Teresa of Avila, buddhist monks, and others "Nada de Turbe" is both a drama and a meditation making the best use of its instrumentation of vocal quartet and string quartet.

Alongside the world premiere, AEON Ensemble will present works by Hildegard von Bingen, Pauline Oliveros, Gilda Lyons, and other works by Galindo.
