Violinist Russell Kotcher performs Galindo’s “Though your footsteps were unseen” (2020) for violin solo on Composers Concordance’s “O Haiku My Haiku” as recitations of Haiku and other short-form poetry are accompanied by an array of instruments from around the globe, including the Russian Domra, Japanese Hichiriki, and Middle Eastern Ney, in combination with electronics and western orchestral instruments. Other works on the program consist of music by Dan Cooper, Brian Duford, Ruby Froom, Monroe Golden, Sunao Isaji, Debra Kaye, Mark Kostabi, Milica Paranosic, Gene Pritsker, Jay Rodriguez, David Soldier, and David Taylor.
